Opening tomorrow! “Un/entangled” a solo exhibition.

Please join us at Distortion Society this Saturday, July 8 at 7pm for the opening of “Un/entangled” a solo exhibition of paintings by Evan Paul English.

“Un/entangled” introduces a collection of new paintings that delve into themes of romance and the process of disentanglement. With a compositional foundation inspired by vintage floral motifs, Evan dissects and analyzes ideas of American domesticity through a queer lens. Each painting reveals the complex relationship between image and viewer; as the work unravels traditional narratives, the viewer is invited to reconsider their perceptions and preconceived notions. The show will run through July 30, 2023.
